The Romagna-based company is ready to make its return to Superbike: here’s the livery revealed by Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani.
The KB998 Rimini is ready to make its entry into the WorldSBK championship. The Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team, along with riders Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani, unveiled the livery that will symbolize the return after 11 years to a world championship. The key colors for this new chapter are three: white, black, and red.
The presentation of the new livery took place on February 6th in Rimini, specifically at the Italian manufacturer’s headquarters. The bike, featuring a Bimota-signed frame combined with a Kawasaki engine, is powered by a four-cylinder inline engine producing 220 horsepower, giving the bike a top speed of 320 km/h.
A bike that uses the same engine as the Ninja ZX-10RR with 998 cubic centimeters of displacement. The frame consists of aluminum alloy plates, with Showa suspensions and Brembo brakes completing the Rimini powerhouse, ridden by the British Lowes and Italian rider Bassani.
