After an unlucky first day of testing in Thailand, Pecco Bagnaia sought redemption today aboard his Ducati. The vice-world champion stated that he was overall satisfied with the day’s results, despite a less-than-perfect time attack, caused by some technical issues.

Here is Pecco Bagnaia’s statement to Sky Sport at the end of the preseason tests: “Throughout the day, we made progress, and the various things we tested worked. We have a positive outcome and are ready to start the race.

The time attack didn’t go as hoped due to some complications, but this afternoon we did many laps at 1:30 with used tires, and we’re satisfied with that. The most positive thing is that, even though the tires were wearing out more and more, we were still able to improve our times.”
