The MotoGP preseason tests have come to an end: here are the feelings from the Aprilia camp, shared directly by Marco Bezzecchi.
Five days of preseason testing in Malaysia and Thailand saw Aprilia’s official team having to rely solely on Marco Bezzecchi. Despite the situation, the Italian rider found many positive aspects in the bike, recording a significant improvement in his feeling as the number of laps increased.
According to Marco Bezzecchi’s statements to Sky Sport, the bike’s main strengths seem to be tire management, feeling with the bike, and race pace. However, work will still be needed on the time attack during the first free practice sessions, a crucial aspect to securing a good qualifying position.

Bezzecchi commented on the tests: “Good feelings: I really liked the bike, and the track is one I like. I was very curious to see how it would go, and I have to say I was positively impressed. We worked well throughout the tests and chose all the components. We managed to do our job well, so I’m happy. “
The Aprilia rider continues: “The time attack is difficult; it might be the hardest obstacle to overcome because the bike becomes more tricky when I put a new tire on, and I still don’t fully understand how to make it work at its best. I always make some small mistakes, so the perfect lap hasn’t come yet.”
Finally, he concludes: “Tire management is excellent. Fortunately, it’s a strong point in my riding, but I didn’t know what to expect from the Aprilia. However, I must say the bike works well for me. There’s still a lot of work to do, but the improvement from Sepang to today has been clear,” concludes Bezzecchi.
