Today, Red Bull officially presented the car with which it will compete in the 2025 Formula 1 Championship.

The Formula 1 season will unofficially kick off tomorrow when the cars take to the track in Bahrain for a three-day test. This season is expected to be extremely competitive, with at least four teams battling for race wins and possibly both championships. The ingredients for a memorable season are all in place.

Red Bull, Max Verstappen for the legend: the Dutchman dreams of a fifth consecutive World Championship

Red Bull, the reigning Drivers’ Champion, presented the RB21 today, featuring several updates compared to the car that dominated the first ten races but struggled in the second half of the season. Max Verstappen, with his immense talent and an almost flawless first half of the season, managed to secure his fourth consecutive world title and is now dreaming of legendary status.

Indeed, Super Max is hunting for his fifth crown, which would set another record in a career that has already cemented his place among the monuments of Formula 1. Only Fangio and Schumacher have done better, with the Argentine winning five consecutive titles in the 1950s and the German achieving a streak of success from 2000 to 2004. While the conditions for a title win, based on the second half of 2024, don’t seem favorable, both Red Bull and Verstappen have repeatedly shown their ability to defy statistics and limits.

Max himself, during the new car’s presentation, expressed his excitement for the upcoming season and his title pursuit. Here’s what he said: “The motivation is there. Last year wasn’t easy, but we still won the championship. I’m excited to look ahead and improve the car; this alone motivates me a lot. Newey? I don’t think we should dwell on that too much. It’s done now. It’s over. That was the case last year, and I trust the people who have replaced him. I have a lot of respect for what Adrian has done for Red Bull, we’ve kept a good relationship, and I’m happy for him as he starts a new project.”

As mentioned at the start, all the ingredients for a memorable season are in place, with Max Verstappen determined to defend his four titles and add a fifth crown to his collection, further solidifying his status as an undisputed legend of F1.
