Red Bull accelerates its program by bringing forward some components that were initially planned only for Australia; today is a busy day for Lawson.
Important updates at Red Bull ahead of the third and final day of testing. The Anglo-Austrian team will introduce new components tomorrow that were initially intended for the first race, scheduled in Australia on March 16.

An important decision aimed at analyzing every single data point of a car that looks very different from the one that struggled so much in the second half of 2024. Yesterday, Max Verstappen made significant comments, saying: “The car does what I want.” This is an important confidence boost for the Anglo-Austrian team, although they had a second day that was quite fragmented and difficult.
Liam Lawson, who is driving today, commented on the day: “I’m feeling more and more comfortable in the car, even though today was a challenging day. We had to fight against some small issues with the car, but that’s the purpose of testing – discovering as much as possible about the new car. After a few laps, we had to return to the pits; the weather timed perfectly to ruin our plans, but I think that applies to the entire pit lane.
Every single piece of data is important as we approach the opening race in Melbourne, and I think the evaluations so far are positive. This is my last time behind the wheel before FP1, and we need to get everything right and present ourselves with a perfectly balanced car for the first race.”
