After debuting with the SF-25 at Fiorano and during the tests in Bahrain, Lewis Hamilton can’t wait to officially hit the track in Ferrari gear. Just over a week until the start of a season that promises to be uncertain and fiercely contested, possibly decided by hundredths, or even thousandths of a second.
The seven-time world champion, highly anticipated, was intercepted by the microphones of the official Formula 1 channels. Here are his words about his first two months at Ferrari: “Red is the color of passion and love; there’s an enormous amount of passion in this team, even with the fanbase they have, the Tifosi, and you can see it with everyone at Ferrari.
Of course, at Ferrari, there are also people who build the cars, but we’re all under the same roof. So, when I cross the road and go to the wind tunnel, for example, I see other members of the team who may not necessarily be part of the racing team but are still part of the team. It’s really special to see and experience this every day, and every day I meet new people.”
Lewis then added: “They’ve done everything to make me feel welcome. Honestly, it’s been the best month, I’ve had so much fun. It’s been tiring, we’ve definitely all pushed hard, but this is the moment for focus. Everyone has their head down, focused only on doing the best possible, and I also try to give my best every day.”
