On March 16, the fastest single-seaters in the world will hit the track again, alongside the junior categories: here’s the weather forecast and schedule for F3 in Australia!
It’s not just about Formula 1 and Formula 2—the start of the top-tier motorsport championship will also mark the first race of the 2025 Formula 3 season, with young drivers taking their first steps towards the pinnacle of motorsport.

Who will claim the title this year? There are many contenders, but all eyes will be on Italy’s Brando Badoer, who will carry the #1 on his Prema car.
Welcome to Albert Park: The Melbourne Circuit
The Albert Park Circuit hosts the Formula 1, Formula 2, and Formula 3 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. The track winds around the scenic Albert Park Lake, blending public roads with sections designed for racing. With a length of 5.3 km and 14 corners, the circuit is known for its high speed and technical layout, featuring a mix of fast corners and heavy braking zones.
Although it is a semi-permanent circuit, the asphalt tends to be slippery during the first sessions, as the roads are used daily by regular traffic.
In 2022, the circuit underwent changes to enhance racing spectacle, including the removal of the chicane between Turns 9 and 10. However, this year, further modifications have been made, particularly redesigning some run-off areas between Turns 6 and 7 due to safety concerns raised in 2024.
