Hard crash during the Sprint for Miguel Oliveira: the Portuguese rider has been taken to the hospital.
There’s no respite for Miguel Oliveira, who was already plagued by injuries last year, forcing him to miss races from Indonesia to the final one in Barcelona.

The Portuguese rider was involved in a dramatic incident: in front of him, Fermin Aldeguer crashed without major consequences, but number 88 couldn’t avoid him and collided with the Gresini Ducati of the Spaniard.
VIDEO – OLIVEIRA, HARD IMPACT WITH ALDEGUER
An accident in which Oliveira suffered the worst consequences: the impact on the front of his body caused severe pain for the Pramac rider, with an initial diagnosis suggesting a suspected collarbone fracture.
However, as Simon Patterson reported: “Update on Miguel Oliveira from Pramac: initially suspected a broken rib, but that has been ruled out. Suspected damage to his sternum or clavicle, so he is en route to Santiago del Estero (about 80 km away) for a CAT scan.”

According to Sky Sport Italy, the Portuguese rider also hit the barriers after his crash. Updates are awaited as we wish the best for the unlucky Portuguese rider.
