by Letizia Ganci

The women’s world series directed by Susie Wolff starts again from Shanghai: all the schedules and where to watch F1 Academy in China.

While the 2025 World Championship for Formula 1 and its cadet categories kicked off in Albert Park, spectators’ attention in Shanghai will be divided between the premier category and the F1 Academy’s debut in China. In addition to the new faces of the rookies we will see on the track in this new edition of the women’s series, for the first round of 2025, there will also be Shi Wei, known as ‘Tie Dou,’ who will race with Hitech Grand Prix in the role of wild card for the home weekend.

The weekend’s format will not differ much from last season’s, except for the introduction of an inverted grid that will change the starting positions for Race 1 for the top eight fastest drivers in qualifying. Opening the race weekend, however, will be a 40-minute free practice session; the possibility of including a second free practice session in the schedule will depend, from time to time, on the availability of the host circuit.
