Williams in Trouble: FIA Directive Violated, Risk of Disqualification?

After the investigation into Leclerc and Stroll (HERE is the outcome from the Race Direction), a new case arises in the Circus. The issue? The failure to submit video files recorded by the front and rear wireless cameras of the car during the first practice session of the Chinese Grand Prix.

As stipulated by the Federation, each team is required to provide these files within one hour of the session’s end, a crucial requirement for ensuring compliance with Article 3.2.2 of the regulations and for safety aspects defined in Article 3.15.16. However, Williams did not meet this deadline, violating Article 1.6, prompting official intervention by the FIA.

Now, the British team faces serious consequences: the possibility of disqualification is not to be ruled out, and in fact, it is one of the most likely options. The final decision rests with the stewards, but the situation for the Grove-based team is becoming extremely delicate.
