On Sunday, the third event of the 2025 MotoGP season will take place, and the VR46 team arrives in strong form after Morbidelli’s podium finish in Argentina.

MotoGP is ready to land in Texas, at the Austin circuit, for the third event of the season. The first two races were dominated by the Marquez brothers, with Marc securing four wins (two in the long races and two in the sprints) and four second-place finishes for his brother Alex. Ducati has had an undisputed dominance, with the VR46 Team achieving their first podium of the season in Argentina with Morbidelli.

For the Austin race, the Valentino Rossi team will also present a special livery to honor the United States and the fans who are eager to attend over the weekend. The new livery will likely be unveiled starting from the sprint race, with Morbidelli and Di Giannantonio ready to replicate the great results seen in Argentina.

Here are the statements from “Morbido” ahead of the Austin GP: “We’re heading to Austin, a track I really like, but it’s very difficult and different from the two tracks we’ve raced on so far this season. We arrive with a huge boost of confidence and enthusiasm after the great result in Argentina. The goal is to keep this momentum going, and we want to start well right from the beginning, working throughout the weekend as we did in the previous two races. I’m heading to the United States full of energy, even after being in Brazil last week, which was a really great experience.”

Fabio Di Giannantonio is also regaining his form after a strong race in Argentina. These are his words: “I’m feeling good and really motivated for the weekend in the United States. We’re in a phase of growth, the recovery is getting better, and I’ve been training normally these last few days. Austin is one of the physically demanding tracks on the calendar, so it’s important to arrive as prepared as possible, and I’m happy with how I’ve prepared. We’ll need to try to continue the positive trend we confirmed in Termas, and it will be important to start strong right from the beginning.”
