John Elkann, chairman of Ferrari, has sent a letter to all Exor employees: “In 2024, revenues reached €6.7 billion. And 2025 will be just as exciting”
There is no sign of concern in John Elkann’s words. No worries about a tough start in Formula 1, nor about Ferrari’s sales, which continue to rise. It’s a golden era for the Prancing Horse, despite a 17-year wait for a drivers’ title.

Heads rolling after the disaster in China? Not at all. Instead, Elkann surprises everyone: his words reflect admiration and satisfaction for the past year, as clearly stated in his letter to Exor employees.
Elkann’s Words in the Letter to Employees
Here’s the content of the message: “2024 has been an exceptional year for Ferrari, marked by success across the board: from strong financial results to victories in Motorsport, as well as achievements in sports cars and the lifestyle sector. The F80 draws inspiration from the 499P hypercar, which repeated its 2023 triumph by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans once again in 2024.”
“Net revenues grew by 12% compared to the previous year, reaching €6.7 billion, with an operating margin of 38%. All targets set for 2024 have been exceeded, paving the way for an equally exciting 2025, with the arrival of Lewis Hamilton and the debut of Ferrari’s first fully electric car.”
