A very fast session, where there is no time for mistakes. Toprak Razgatlioglu flies, and on his first lap, he lowers his own track record set in FP3 by another three-tenths: alongside him, Michael van der Mark’s BMW also performs very well and finishes in seventh position, with both of them set to fight for the front row of Race 2 during tomorrow’s Superpole Race.

The Italians are divided into two groups: Bulega, Petrucci, and Locatelli finish in second, third, and fourth positions, respectively, while Montella, Iannone, and Bassani are further back, between twelfth and fourteenth place. At the end, the number 5 rider from the Barni team crashes, causing a yellow flag that penalizes Alex Lowes: the Briton, who was initially in sixth place, has his time cancelled and ends the Superpole without a valid lap, also affected by a fall at the start of the session and the difficult situation with the Bimota of the Kawasaki Racing Team.
