A funny exchange between Fabio Di Giannantonio, Álex Márquez, and Pecco Bagnaia after the race: here’s what they said.
MotoGP riders often engage in amusing conversations at the end of Grand Prix races, especially when the cameras capture them in the cool-down room, watching the race footage for the first time on the screens.

And during the Austin Grand Prix, the post-race chat (all in Italian) between the three podium finishers was no exception. With Di Giannantonio’s Roman dialect and Bagnaia’s blunt humor, here’s what they said…
The cool-down room conversation
Diggia: “Who’s gonna lend me an arm? My left arm is so dead I can’t even lift it to drink.”
Pecco: “Turns 3-4 were tough, huh?”
Diggia: “Insane. I think I used my whole body by mid-race, from then on. And this didn’t really help at the start… (referring to the sprint to change bikes, editor’s note).”
Pecco: “Damn it! I got to the box… ah ah ah (gasping for air, editor’s note)!”

Diggia: “Look at me sprinting. Watch back there. Here I come. Tiny little Diggia…”
Pecco: “I was riding a bit on the curb after I saw him (Marc Márquez, editor’s note). When he crashed, luckily, he was already way ahead.”
Álex: “Yeah, but Marc went down in a place I didn’t even know you were taking.”

Diggia: “Damn… he really gambled on Turn 4 over the curb, even though it rained until 10 minutes before!”
Pecco: “I tried it on the warm-up lap, and I understood why he crashed. I did the same thing coming out of Turn 9.”

Diggia: “And that’s when you thought, ‘maybe we’re not supposed to go up there.’ Can I say something? That wasn’t exactly a bad call…”
