Liam Lawson returns to Racing Bulls after a tough stint with Red Bull, here are his words ahead of the Japanese GP.
A new debut for Liam Lawson with Racing Bulls. After a disappointing experience with Red Bull, which ended prematurely after just two Grands Prix, the New Zealand driver is looking for redemption and will have the chance to do so with the team where he made a name for himself starting from the Singapore GP last season.

Lawson, coming off a less-than-ideal start to the season, spoke to the press ahead of the third race of the year in Japan. These are his statements: “I’m really looking forward to getting on track in Japan this weekend. Suzuka is one of my favorite circuits on the calendar: it’s amazing to drive, and its high speed makes it incredibly fun behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car. This race represents a special opportunity for me, as I’m rejoining the Racing Bulls team. I’m really happy to work with them again, and as always, I will give my best in every session.”
His teammate, Hadjar, is looking for redemption after a disappointing race in China. A step back after his excellent qualifying performance as the 2024 F2 vice-champion. These are his statements: “I’m really happy to be in Japan, probably my favorite country among those we visit during the season. I’ve already had the opportunity to drive at Suzuka, and even though some time has passed, it remains my favorite track along with Monaco. Facing it for the first time with a Formula 1 car will be an incredible experience, given the speed and intensity of the circuit. I can’t wait to see what we can achieve as a team, because in the first two weekends…”
