Max Verstappen comes off an absolutely brilliant victory at Suzuka, marking his tenth consecutive year with at least one win in Formula 1.
Max Verstappen secured his first win of the season after a weekend that could only be described as otherworldly. A pole position that defied logic and a race controlled masterfully (keeping the two McLarens at a safe distance) allowed the four-time world champion to claim a victory in F1 for the tenth year in a row, bringing his total to 64 wins.

After the race, Max appeared very calm and down-to-earth about the rest of the season. These were his remarks: “Can I compete in every race? I don’t think so, but honestly, as I’ve said before, we won. It was very hard to overtake here. In Bahrain, the track is completely different, the tires are much harder and they overheat. We still have work to do.”
The Dutchman then added: “But this shows that if we do everything right, we can be up there. From our side, however, we want to be better than we sometimes are. So we keep working hard and see where we can get already in Bahrain. We hope to continue improving the car, like the corner balance, and hopefully unlock a bit more pace.”
And finally: “We know our limits, we need to address those limitations we face. I hope this will be solved soon, but I can’t give a timeline.”
