Unfortunately, this accident struck at the moment when he had managed to gain momentum in the championship. Following the crash yesterday, Bertelle sustained two fractures: one in his right tibia and the other in his left humerus. He is currently hospitalized for further checks, but there is no information yet about the potential date of his return to the track.

Official Statement

The news came from the Level UP-MTA Team, which in the official statement reported: “On Sunday, 06/04/2025, our rider Matteo Bertelle was involved in an accident that resulted in fractures to his right tibia and left humerus. He is still hospitalized for further evaluations by the medical team.

We are confident he will recover soon and we look forward to seeing him back on the track. We confirm that he will not be present at the Qatar GP. The entire team wishes Matteo a speedy recovery.
