It’s official: McLaren is set to return to the World Endurance Championship, and the goal is crystal clear. After years of rumors and anticipation, the legendary British team has confirmed its entry into the WEC with one mission in mind – to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans once again, 32 years after its iconic triumph in 1995.
The announcement comes during a golden era for the Woking squad, currently leading both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships in Formula 1. The Norris-Piastri duo is rewriting the 2025 season, and with a flawless MCL39, the team led by Zak Brown and Andrea Stella has reestablished itself as a true top contender.

McLaren in the WEC: debut date confirmed
