Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri spoke to the media ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, scheduled for Easter Sunday.
McLaren started the season strong, with three wins in the first four races. The Papaya team is coming off a dominant victory in Bahrain, where Oscar Piastri secured pole position and cruised to a convincing win ahead of the competition. It was a more challenging weekend in Bahrain for Lando Norris who, after qualifying in sixth place, managed to climb up to third thanks to a late-race overtake on Leclerc.

This weekend, Formula 1 returns for the fifth race of the season — and the third in a row — Saudi Arabia Here’s what the two McLaren drivers had to say, starting with Lando Norris: “I’m really looking forward to heading back to Jeddah for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. It’s an extremely fast and technical circuit, and with the pace we’ve shown so far, the goal is to finish this first triple-header on a high. I’m really proud of how we’ve started the season. We’ve celebrated the results, but we’ve also taken the time to regroup as a team, analyze the data, and prepare ourselves as best as possible for the next challenge. I feel fit and ready — looking forward to getting back on track and giving it everything this weekend.”
In Saudi Arabia, Piastri has his sights set on gaining ground in the World Championship standings. Here’s what he said ahead of the race in Jeddah: “I’m really happy with the win in Bahrain, especially with how it came about. It gives me a lot of confidence going into the weekend. Jeddah is a track I really enjoy and one that holds great memories from past editions. I’m determined to go out there, give my best, and perform at the highest level in Saudi Arabia.”
