The 2025 F1 Academy season kicked off a few weekends ago in Shanghai, where the drivers of the all-female series, led by Susie Wolff, raced at the Chinese circuit for the first time in the championship’s history. This weekend, the series heads to its second round on the streets of Jeddah. The Saudi Arabian track will also host Formula 1—now at its fifth round of the season—and Formula 2, entering its third, with Leonardo Fornaroli currently dominating the standings.
As per the championship regulations, Farah AlYousef has been selected as the wild card entry for the Saudi Arabian round. Managed by Hitech Grand Prix and nominated by the Saudi Motorsport Company, her inclusion highlights SMC’s ongoing commitment to nurturing local talent and increasing opportunities for Saudi women in top-tier international motorsport.

Where to Watch F1 Academy in Jeddah
The F1 Academy race weekend in Jeddah kicks off this Friday with the first and only free practice session, giving drivers and teams the chance to get a feel for the track—where striking the right balance between exit traction and aerodynamic efficiency will be key. Every session throughout the weekend will be broadcast live on Sky Sport F1 (channel 207). Here’s the full schedule:
