Red Bull, Verstappen dismisses transfer rumors: “I’m only focused on working, I’m concentrating on driving.”

Max Verstappen at the center of transfer rumors distancing him from Red Bull – here’s how the Dutchman responded to the media.

In recent hours, some rather sensational rumors have emerged regarding Max Verstappen‘s future. According to various sources, the Imola Grand Prix could be a decisive moment for the Dutch driver, while other reports suggest that a definitive split between the four-time world champion and Red Bull has already occurred, with an official announcement expected in the coming weeks. For now, the only certainty is the racetrack – and it’s precisely there that Verstappen wants to respond, following a lackluster performance in Bahrain.

Here’s what the four-time world champion had to say ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: “I hope we’ll be more competitive than we were in Bahrain. Here we’ll be using softer tyres, and traditionally it’s always been a one-stop race, but we’ll see how the tyres perform this year. We have enough experience to focus on both this season and the next. We’re constantly working to improve, and we’ll keep doing that this weekend as well. In Bahrain we struggled with the car’s balance, and I don’t know how much we’ll be able to improve here. Hopefully, track conditions will play in our favor.”

When asked about the transfer rumors, Max responded: “Is Marko afraid I might leave? I don’t know – I’m just focused on working and improving the car. We’ve got new ideas to develop it further, and I prepare as best as I can for every situation. I’m not thinking about my future – I’m fully focused on driving. Everyone’s talking about my future, except me. I just focus on doing my job well, and I’m very relaxed.”
