Over the Imola weekend, Racing Bulls will bring an important update package, and here are the details.
Racing Bulls has been a pleasant surprise at the start of this season. The younger sibling of Red Bull has proven to be much more competitive compared to last season, even though the results, due to some wrong decisions and various misfortunes, have not been reflective of the car’s true potential. Therefore, it’s no surprise that Hadjar has performed well so far this season, while Lawson is still recovering from the shock of being demoted from Red Bull.
Racing Bulls’ goal is to consistently fight for a spot in Q3 and to score points in races. That’s why, starting from the Imola Grand Prix, an important update package will arrive, allowing the team to further improve. This decision was made before the Japanese Grand Prix and will be implemented on a track that Racing Bulls knows very well: Imola.
But what will the new update package involve? According to initial information, a new floor will be introduced, which will provide better performance and help gain important tenths of a second, which in the race pack could make a significant difference. The updates won’t stop there, as they are also expected to affect the bodywork, with possible changes to the sidepods or engine cover areas, aimed at optimizing airflow and improving overall efficiency. We will see if the home track will allow Racing Bulls to assert itself as the fifth force in the championship.
