Everything is ready for the Gran Premio Estrella Galicia 0,0 de España — let’s take a look at the weather forecast and full schedule for the first European round of the MotoGP World Championship.
The Circuito de Jerez–Ángel Nieto will host the fifth round of the season. Leading the current standings is Marc Márquez, who holds a 17-point lead over his brother Álex Márquez (2nd) and a 26-point advantage over Francesco Bagnaia (3rd).

These three riders appear to be the main contenders for the world title, but keep an eye on Franco Morbidelli, who has shown impressive consistency so far: in every Sunday race, he has finished either third or fourth.
At Jerez, both Márquez and Bagnaia have secured three career victories, with the Italian rider winning the last three editions of the Andalusian GP. This weekend promises a head-to-head battle between the two: for Marc, it’s a chance to further extend his lead over his teammate, while for #63, it’s a crucial opportunity to close the gap and prove his title credentials.
Meanwhile, Jorge Martín and Miguel Oliveira will miss the Spanish GP due to injury. They’ll be replaced by Lorenzo Savadori and Augusto Fernández, respectively. Also returning to the track will be Aleix Espargaró, making his first wildcard appearance for the Honda team.
Let’s now take a look at the full MotoGP schedule and weather forecast for Jerez.

Italian TV Schedule for MotoGP in Jerez

15:00 – Practice (PR)
SATURDAY, APRIL 26

No rain is expected over the weekend, but the biggest challenge will be tire selection. The wide temperature swings between morning and early afternoon sessions will make it difficult to assess tire wear and race pace. Choosing the right compound for both the Sprint Race and Sunday’s main event will be key to success.
