OFFICIAL: Release date announced for Netflix TV series dedicated to F1 Academy

The release date for the highly anticipated Netflix TV series dedicated to F1 Academy has arrived; it will be released on the popular streaming platform starting May 28, 2025.

Finally after almost a year of waiting, Formula 1 and F1 Academy have made official the release date of the documentary TV series, titled F1: The Academy, which will chronicle the successes and challenges that animated the paddock of the women’s category last season, during which Abbi Pulling won the title of World Champion, inheriting the nomination from Marta Garcia, the category’s first rainbow driver directed by Susie Wolff.

Available starting May 28 on Netflix, the TV series will flank Drive To Survive, now in its seventh season; moreover, on the streaming platform it is already possible to set the reminder not to miss the release of the new communication product belonging to the Circus.

“The adrenaline-pumping docuseries follows women drivers as they compete during the 2024 season of the F1 Academy Racing Series. Through exclusive behind-the-scenes access, F1: The Academy highlights the drama of racing, as well as the personal stories and high stakes of these incredible drivers and the teams around them, as they break barriers in one of the world’s most challenging sports, ” reads the official statement reported by Formula 1 and the F1 Academy.

Continuing with the details, “the seven-episode series is produced by Susie Wolff, CEO of F1 ACADEMY, along with Ian Holmes and Isabelle Stewart for F1, while Reese Witherspoon, Sara Rea, and Sarah Lazenby are the executive producers of Hello Sunshine. The showrunner is Lisa Keane “.
