Cadillac F1 2026 Livery: Here’s When It Will Be Revealed

The wait is almost over: Cadillac’s Formula 1 livery will be unveiled to the public in just a few days. Here’s the official date.

There are no more doubts or rumors — it’s official: Cadillac is entering the world of Formula 1, as announced on November 26, 2024. And they’ve chosen a high-profile stage: the Miami Grand Prix. On May 3, the American brand will reveal its first-ever F1 livery during an exclusive event at the “Cadillac Club” in Miami Beach, attended by celebrities, IndyCar drivers, and General Motors executives.

However, it won’t yet be time for the full race car: Cadillac will present a show car built according to FIA regulations, offering a first glimpse of the technical philosophy and design language that will define their debut in the 2026 season. The actual race car and full technical details will be unveiled later.

Drivers: Focus on American Talent, but Perez Rumors Emerge

When it comes to drivers, Cadillac is pushing hard to secure an American talent, aiming to strengthen its bond with U.S. fans. However, the door remains open for Sergio Perez, whose future at Red Bull is still uncertain. Signing Perez would immediately boost the project’s global visibility and experience. Guanyu Zhou is also being monitored, given the strong appeal of the Chinese market.

TWG Motorsports Takes Charge of the Project

A major management shift is also underway: Andretti Global will no longer lead the Cadillac F1 program. Instead, the project moves to TWG Motorsports, the structure founded by Dan Towriss, who already has strong ties to IndyCar racing. This decision aims to provide a fresh management approach and make Cadillac more independent within the F1 ecosystem. And let’s not forget: starting in 2029, Cadillac will become a full-fledged power unit manufacturer.
