After a two-week break, it’s time to fire up the engines once again! Following the race in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Formula 1 heads to Miami, Florida, this weekend. It’s the sixth Grand Prix of the season and will feature the Sprint format for the second time this year after the Chinese GP. McLaren remains the clear favorite, but Ferrari appears to be making a strong comeback, while Verstappen and Mercedes are ready to pounce. Here’s everything you need to know about the schedule and weather forecast for the Miami GP.

Schedule and weather in Miami
Now in its fourth edition since joining the calendar in 2022, the Miami Grand Prix is one of three U.S. races alongside Austin and Las Vegas. Red Bull has dominated in Florida, with Verstappen claiming victory in both 2022 and 2023. Last season, however, Lando Norris secured his maiden career win for McLaren at this circuit. Will the British driver be able to repeat his success over the 5.412 km Miami International Autodrome? Here’s the full schedule:

As for the weather, fans and teams should stay alert for potential surprises. On Friday and Saturday, temperatures are expected to hover around 28°C (82°F) under mostly sunny skies. However, Sunday could bring a different scenario, with highs close to 30°C (86°F) and a 40% chance of rain. Cloudy conditions are currently considered the most likely outlook for race day, adding an extra layer of unpredictability to the weekend.
