Lewis Hamilton was interviewed by Sky Sport Italia at the launch event for Ferrari’s special livery for Miami.
It’s been a tougher and more complicated start to the season than expected for Lewis Hamilton, who in the last race weekend finished no higher than seventh, with very low morale, as shown by his statements to international media. The break has surely been beneficial, at least mentally, for the seven-time world champion, who is now looking forward to taking part in the Miami weekend wearing the red colors of Ferrari.

Speaking on the sidelines of the launch event for Ferrari’s new and much-discussed Miami livery, Hamilton gave the following statements to Sky Sport Italia: “Is it special to race here with Ferrari? Yes, I’d say every race weekend is incredible for me. Especially this year, as it’s my first Miami Grand Prix with Ferrari. It’s always a unique and amazing experience to race for this iconic team. There’s so much passion, and it’s wonderful to go to different places and see the support from the fans—not just Ferrari fans, but also those who have supported me over the years.”
When asked about his expectations for this weekend, Hamilton added: “If we could replicate the result from the last sprint weekend, it would be fantastic. We learned a lot from Friday and Saturday of the last race, which didn’t go so well, and then Sunday wasn’t spectacular at all. We’ll try to implement those changes this weekend and see if we can achieve better results.”
