Yuki Tsunoda’s Words Ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, the Sixth Round of the Season
It’s Yuki Tsunoda’s fourth race with Red Bull, and the Japanese driver is aiming to bounce back after an unfortunate weekend in Saudi Arabia, where his Grand Prix ended after just a few corners due to a collision with Pierre Gasly. During the press conference, held alongside Alpine’s Gasly and McLaren’s Lando Norris, Tsunoda spoke about his learning process with Red Bull ahead of the Miami Grand Prix.

Tsunoda said: “The Red Bull isn’t hard to drive, but of course, it’s not simple. The VCARB was more forgiving and more versatile, whereas the RB has a narrower operating window. Finding that window isn’t easy, but it’s better than I initially expected. The team is helping me a lot — I still don’t fully know the limits of the car. For example, in Q3 at Jeddah I pushed and had a snap I wasn’t expecting. There’s a great environment here, and it’s helping me a lot.”
The Japanese driver then added: “I’ve finally had time to adapt, and I’m happy with what we’ve done so far. There’s trust, and I’d like to push at 100%, but it takes time to build up the pace in qualifying. The car itself isn’t difficult, but I still need time to fully get used to it.”
