Charles Leclerc answered journalists’ questions ahead of the Miami sprint weekend, the sixth round of the 2025 season.
Charles Leclerc is enjoying an excellent run of form. The Monegasque Ferrari driver is coming off his first podium of the season thanks to a third-place finish in Saudi Arabia, while in Bahrain—at the previous round—only the Safety Car intervention compromised his race. It could be seen as a turning point for Leclerc, who has made significant changes in the last two Grands Prix, moving away from the initial car setup.

Leclerc arrived in Miami hungry to repeat the result from two weeks ago and maybe even aim for victory. These were his words on media day: “This year we’ve gone for some pretty extreme setup solutions, trying to get more out of the car. Because of that, I’ve had to change a lot in my driving style to adapt to the car’s demands. It’s harder to drive than previous ones, with a very aggressive front end, which makes it tricky especially when pushing to the limit in qualifying. But it’s a challenge I enjoy—it’s always been something I’ve appreciated throughout my career.”
The 27-year-old then added: “Comparing sensations between drivers is always difficult. After seven years at Ferrari, there are things that have become second nature to me, things I don’t even notice anymore. But I do feel like I’m driving very differently this year, because the car requires a different setup and driving style. We’re still exploring and pushing in this direction, and so far—at least for me—we’re seeing only benefits. And I really like where we’re heading.”
