Tonight at 10 PM (Italian time), the Miami Grand Prix will get underway—the sixth round of the 2025 Formula 1 season—with Verstappen on pole position.
The sixth race of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship will take place tonight at 10 PM (CET) in Miami. It promises to be an electric and intense race, with weather conditions potentially shaking things up—just like in yesterday’s Sprint race. Max Verstappen starts from pole position, thanks to a phenomenal lap that earned him his third pole of the season, and third in the last four races.

IAlongside the four-time world champion is Lando Norris, just 0.065 seconds behind Verstappen. Norris comes fresh off a win in the Sprint race, which earned him one point over Oscar Piastri. The Australian will start from fourth, just behind an impressive Kimi Antonelli. The young Mercedes driver missed out on pole by just 0.067 seconds and is aiming for the first podium of his Formula 1 career.
An unusual third row sees George Russell in fifth, alongside a spectacular Carlos Sainz. After retiring from the Sprint race earlier in the day, Sainz delivered an incredible qualifying performance, finishing just 0.365 seconds off pole. The Williams team also seems in top form this weekend, as shown by Albon’s seventh-place start. He had an excellent Sprint race—finishing fourth—but was penalized afterward.
Lining up next to the Thai driver is the first of the two Ferraris, with Charles Leclerc. It was a disastrous qualifying for the Maranello team. The Monegasque could do no better than the fourth row, while Lewis Hamilton failed to make it past Q2. Despite taking a podium in the Sprint, Hamilton will start twelfth. Rounding out the top ten are an excellent Ocon and the second Red Bull, driven by Tsunoda.
