F1, Cadillac Reveals Itself to the World: 2026 Livery to Be Unveiled Today

Today, in Miami, Cadillac will unveil the colors of the livery it will use for its debut in the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship.

On the Miami track, Cadillac will present its official 2026 livery — the first for the American team after securing a major agreement with the FIA and the ten current F1 teams. It’s a highly symbolic event, taking place during the first U.S. race of the season, a carefully chosen location given that the star-spangled team will benefit from the support of General Motors and Andretti.

In a short teaser video released on its official channels, Cadillac offered a first glimpse of its F1 color scheme: black and white as the dominant hues, accented by touches of gold. These colors are historically associated with the American brand and will define the look of the car competing in the 2026 F1 Championship.

As previously mentioned, Cadillac will join Formula 1 as the eleventh team. For the first three years, it will rely on Ferrari power units. Starting in 2029, however, the American outfit plans to develop its own engine. Work on this ambitious project will begin in the coming months with the construction of a new operations base in Fishers, Indiana, focused on the development of every aspect of its power units.

The driver lineup for the team has yet to be officially announced, but one name is already topping the list: Sergio Perez. The Mexican driver is expected to return to F1 in 2026, and Cadillac appears to be in a strong position to secure the former Red Bull star. It’s no coincidence that Perez is present in the Miami paddock right as Cadillac is launching its new livery.
