Andrea Kimi Antonelli didn’t take what happened at the start of the Sprint lightly: the clash with Piastri continues.
Furious but determined: Kimi Antonelli was clearly unhappy about what went down during the Sprint Race of the Miami Grand Prix, when Oscar Piastri pushed him off at Turn 1.

Speaking to Sky Sport F1, Kimi said: “Piastri played the rules well, but he literally pushed me off. It seems like on the first lap you can do anything without getting penalized… Good to know for the future. I’m angry about the start, but again, good to know.”
A “good to know” said not once, but twice, showing how the 2006-born driver is clearly set on paying that move back—perhaps directly to the Aussie himself.

Kimi throws another jab during “The Seat” presentation
Prompted by reporters, Kimi once again brought up the incident, making it clear the clash is far from over.
When asked, “Kimi, tomorrow you’ll be starting next to Oscar Piastri in P3 and P4. Just a quick thought…?” the Italian instantly responded with sarcasm: “Ah yes, Oscar… my best friend!”

Then, the journalist followed up: “Toto gave you full permission to push him into the wall—something you’ll consider doing?”
Kimi didn’t shy away: “Hmm… well, I might actually think about it. But you know, we’re starting in a good position tomorrow, so we’ll see. If I get a great start, I don’t think there’ll be a need for that…”

So the clash is far from settled: Kimi has made it clear—he intends to return the favor on track.
