Charles Leclerc finished seventh in the Miami Grand Prix, a major disappointment for the Monegasque driver.
It was a race to forget for Ferrari, which hit the lowest point of a season that has never truly taken off. At the end of the Grand Prix, Leclerc came home in seventh place and Hamilton in eighth, with the two often battling each other and tensions rising between the drivers and their respective engineers. It’s a very delicate moment for the Maranello-based team, which now needs to roll up its sleeves and figure out whether there’s still room to invest in 2025.

After the race, Charles Leclerc commented on what had happened on the Miami track: “Lots of frustration today, a whole lot. There are things better discussed in private, and that’s exactly what we’ll do with the team — we’ll talk things over in private and go through everything that happened in today’s race. It was a tough Sunday. I was angry and didn’t talk much on the radio — a very difficult Sunday.”
The Monegasque driver then added: “I think it’s been four races now, including this one, where I felt we’ve been extracting the maximum from the car — but this weekend, there was nothing there. We need to understand why that happened, but the truth is, we just don’t have the speed. I still believe in this car, but after a day like this, the frustration is high, and it’s hard to stay positive. I’ll give it my all until the end, but we have to improve the car — and we all need to do our part, because today we were slow, we lacked pace.”
