After long weeks of waiting, the Portuguese rider is back on track, but attention must be paid to his past performances on this circuit: here are the words of the rider.
After a break of almost two months, the wait is finally over: Miguel Oliveira will soon land in France to take part in the historic MotoGP Grand Prix. However, despite the excitement of returning to the track, caution is needed when it comes to this circuit, given the discouraging results from previous seasons.

After injuring himself in Argentina due to an incident with Fermin Aldeguer, Miguel Oliveira was forced to miss several Grands Prix: the last two seasons of the #88 rider have been marked by a great deal of bad luck with crashes. However, if the medical team at the French circuit gives the green light on Thursday, the Pramac Team will field its full rider lineup once again.
Miguel Oliveira’s Statement
The announcement came just a few minutes ago via the MotoGP social media pages. Additionally, Oliveira stated in a post: “After two months out of competition, I’m back! Excited to get back on track at Le Mans, an iconic motorsport stage. It has been weeks of work, preparation, and focus, and now it’s time to do what I love the most. Let’s go full throttle!”

Good news, then, for Yamaha, although this return is expected to be far from easy. The rider’s physical condition will not be at 100%, and in the last four years, the Portuguese rider has never finished a race at Le Mans: three retirements and one missed participation due to injury.
