Zarco wins at his home circuit: he’s the only rider to stick with his initial tire choice — and it pays off. Marc settles for second place, but the crashes of Alex, Pecco, and Morbidelli allow him to significantly extend his lead.
Aldeguer earns his first podium of the season, and even test riders Nakagami and Savadori put in strong performances. The KTM riders Acosta and Vinales also do well.
