Following the arrest of William Oakes, the British team shows up without official logos.
The affair involving the Oakes brothers is taking on an increasingly surreal turn. In fact, while the Formula 1 paddock was busy overseas for the Miami Grand Prix, William was arrested by the police near the Silverstone circuit, while Oliver resigned from his role as Team Principal of Alpine right after the race in the United States.
Today, however, another piece has been added, making the affair even more complicated: in fact, ahead of this weekend’s event in Imola, the Hitech GP team, founded by the Oakes brothers themselves, showed up in the paddock with a large white truck, without any lettering.

In fact, as we can see from the photos published by Cytrus on the social platform X, the British team’s truck shows neither team logos nor sponsors on its sides, leaving only the white color.
Hitech case in F2 and F3: what will happen to the drivers?
We currently do not know if this situation will affect only the team’s truck, or also the cars’ liveries, or even their on-track activities. What is certain is that the weekend for the Hitech team drivers—Dino Beganovic and Luke Browning in Formula 2, Gerrard Xie, Joshua Dufek, and Martinius Stenshorne in Formula 3—definitely did not start off on the right foot.
