According to Sky Italia’s Mara Sangiorgio, Williams is currently investigating a possible fuel leak detected on Albon’s car during the pre-race checks. The team is working intensively to resolve the issue before lights out, but the situation remains uncertain.

While some encouraging signals are emerging from the Grove-based team, there’s still a risk that Albon may not be able to take the start if the problem isn’t resolved in time. The worst-case scenario could involve a full power unit replacement or even a DNS (Did Not Start) if the car isn’t ready. It would be a bitter blow for Albon and the team, especially after securing such a strong starting position with real potential to score valuable points.

All eyes are now on the Williams garage, as we await official updates in these final tense moments before the race.
