In Balneário Camboriú, a coastal city in southern Brazil, a new residential skyscraper dedicated to Ayrton Senna is on the way—and it’s set to become the tallest of its kind in the world.

The tower will reach 525 meters in height and is expected to be completed by 2033. Designed with the creative input of artist Lalalli Senna, niece of the legendary driver who tragically died at Imola in 1994, the building stands as a vertical metaphor for Senna’s human and sporting journey—a symbol of his challenges, triumphs, and rise to mythical status.
The complex will feature 228 units, including 204 luxury apartments of up to 399 square meters, and two triple-story penthouses already in the spotlight for their staggering price tag: $53 million, far exceeding the original $16 million estimate.
The project also includes 18 exclusive “suspended villas”—mid-tower residences ranging from 420 to 560 square meters. Even the most “affordable” units are expected to start at around $5 million.
