After a nasty crash at Turn 2, Ai Ogura may be forced to sit out the Silverstone weekend — here’s what we know
The Japanese rider returned to his motorhome limping and never took to the track during Pre-Qualifying. Ogura’s participation in the British GP is now in serious doubt following a crash in FP1.

He went down hard at Turn 2 at the end of the first free practice session — a fall that, while not extremely violent, clearly had physical consequences for the lightweight Japanese rider.
When Pre-Qualifying began, Ogura was suited up but remained the only one not to leave the garage. From the start, the situation suggested physical issues — which were later confirmed by doctors visiting his box. After a medical check, Ogura left the garage to seek further treatment.
His condition is still under evaluation, but the risk is clear: Ogura could miss the entire Silverstone weekend.
