Race Thursday means two things: press conference and medical checks. So let’s take a look at the decisions made regarding Iannone and Vierge.
In the last round, the Most circuit proved treacherous for two WorldSBK stars: Andrea Iannone and Xavi Vierge. The Italian rider from Team Go Eleven suffered a violent high side during FP1, and due to fractures in the third and fourth toes of his right foot, he was unable to take part in the following sessions.

It was a different story at Honda: in Race 2, Xavi Vierge was struck hard by Bautista’s bike following an incident involving Rea. He underwent surgery on his foot a few days later, and rider #7 has since shared his entire rehabilitation process with fans via social media.
Now in Misano, both riders underwent the routine medical checks required for injured competitors—but the outcome was different for each.
On one hand, Iannone has been declared fit to race. On the other, Vierge will only be allowed to participate in the first free practice session of the weekend (scheduled for 10:35 AM tomorrow), after which he will undergo a further medical evaluation.
