On Misano’s race Thursday, the Rimini-based team unveiled the new colors that Bassani and Lowes will wear on track. Here are all the details.
With just a few hours to go before the first free practice session of the second Italian round, excitement is building—not only for Nicolò Bulega but also for the Rimini-based Bimota team, which has returned to world championship racing after an 11-year absence.

To mark this special occasion, Bimota has decided to celebrate the weekend with a special livery: green accents have been added to the classic design to symbolize the Italian tricolor. Likewise, the riders’ suits will match the newly designed fairing.
Words from Pierluigi Marconi, Bimota COO
The new look was commented on by the Chief Operating Officer of the Rimini manufacturer: “The progress of our WorldSBK project goes hand-in-hand with Bimota’s overall development in the retail sector, including the recent KB998 Rimini and the Tera bikes. For Bimota fans around the world, we want to proudly showcase our Italian heritage here in Misano, and there’s no better way than to include the green of the Italian flag!”
