Unfortunate incident for Gabriel Bortoleto in Switzerland: the Brazilian driver was robbed in Zurich and came close to missing the upcoming Grand Prix.

The Sauber rookie, currently in his debut Formula 1 season, was in Zurich after visiting the team’s headquarters in Hinwil. He had stopped in the city for dinner before flying out to Canada for this weekend’s race.
However, his car was broken into by thieves, who stole personal belongings — including critical documents and his passport. The loss put his trip to Montreal at serious risk.
Bortoleto had to rush to Swiss authorities to get an emergency passport. Without it, he could have arrived late for the Canadian Grand Prix, possibly missing the crucial free practice sessions due to the unexpected theft.
