WorldSBK FP2 at Misano: Bulega ahead of Razgatlioglu, Montella shines!

The second free practice session of WorldSBK has just concluded: Bulega finishes first, with Razgatlioglu chasing close behind. Strong performances from the Italians, with Montella in 3rd and Locatelli in 5th.

WorldSBK is back on track for the second free practice session: while Razgatlioglu dominated this morning, it’s now Bulega who tops the timesheets. Rising temperatures are causing trouble for the #1 BMW, although he still manages to stay close behind his rival.

The standout of the session is Yari Montella, who in the final minutes switches to the SCQ tyre and puts in lap after lap, constantly improving his time: he ends in a fantastic third position. His teammate, Danilo Petrucci, finishes sixth. Splitting the two Barni Team riders are Alvaro Bautista (4th) and Andrea Locatelli (5th).

Bimota’s strong run continues, with Alex Lowes in seventh and Axel Bassani in tenth. Meanwhile, Yamaha struggles: Sofuoglu suffers his third crash of the day, and Gardner ends up in the gravel both at the start and at the end of the session.

Lastly, technical problems keep the other Lowes twin stuck in the garage for most of the session.
