Stalemate situation after the Canadian Grand Prix: seven drivers under investigation!

The Canadian Grand Prix ended with George Russell’s victory, but the race direction now faces the delicate task — and the significant power — of potentially overturning the outcome of the race: as many as seven drivers have come under scrutiny for an alleged infraction that occurred under Safety Car conditions in the final stages of the race.

The drivers involved are:

  • Andrea Kimi Antonelli
  • Charles Leclerc
  • Oscar Piastri
  • Carlos Sainz
  • Esteban Ocon
  • Pierre Gasly
  • Lance Stroll

Seven drivers investigated: what happened

According to reports, the infraction may involve an overtake after the start/finish line while the group was still officially under Safety Car conditions. This would constitute a potential violation of the sporting regulations, which the FIA is now carefully analyzing. Updates will follow in this article.

UPDATE (10:00) – Warning for all drivers! No penalties will be issued, meaning the final positions remain unchanged.
