BREAKING: Ferrari #50 Disqualified from Le Mans – Shocking Twist!

by Stefano Zambroni

Unbelievable news overnight: the #50 Ferrari of Fuoco, Nielsen, and Molina has been disqualified from the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans.

A major twist has hit the world’s most prestigious endurance race — the AF Corse Ferrari #50 has officially been excluded from the final results due to a technical infringement.

Why was the Ferrari disqualified?

During post-race scrutineering, the rear wing support failed to pass the flexibility tests mandated by the technical regulations. The component was deemed non-compliant, leading to the harshest penalty possible: disqualification.

According to WEC rules, no aerodynamic element is allowed to flex beyond specific limits under load. The regulation is in place to prevent any unfair advantage in corners or on straights. This time, the #50 ran afoul of the rule — and paid the price.

The #50 Ferrari 499P, driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen, had finished P4 overall, just behind the sister Ferraris #83 and #51, and the factory Porsche #6. The disqualification erased what could have been a historic triple podium for the Prancing Horse. In hindsight, perhaps it’s better that the team didn’t celebrate prematurely — a result like this would have been wiped from the record books anyway due to the disqualification.
