With Qualifying and the Sprint completed, it’s time for the main event of the weekend: here is the MotoGP Starting Grid for the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen.
It was a very interesting (and in some ways unusual) qualifying session, especially given how the front row shaped up—those expecting Marc Marquez on pole were certainly surprised.
Fabio Quartararo took pole position, with Pecco Bagnaia right behind him. The two Marquez brothers start further back, leaving everything wide open for the race at Assen—four riders are serious contenders for the win.
Worth noting is Marco Bezzecchi’s pace: he starts fifth, just four tenths off pole. That puts him in contention for a podium that would mark a major turnaround for a team like Aprilia, currently in excellent form.
