There were tense moments during the Formula 2 Sprint Race at the Red Bull Ring, which was red-flagged after a dramatic crash that saw Sami Meguetounif’s car flip over twice at the turn 3 hairpin. Also involved in the incident were Arvid Lindblad and Luke Browning.

The crash occurred when Meguetounif attempted an aggressive overtake on the inside of the corner, making contact first with Lindblad and then with Browning. The impact launched the Trident driver’s car into the air, flipping twice before coming to a halt upside down in the middle of the track. The red flag was immediately brought out, and after a few moments of replays, cameras stopped showing the French driver, causing concern in the paddock and among viewers.
Thankfully, confirmation came within minutes that all three drivers were unharmed. Meguetounif was helped out of his car by marshals—shaken but conscious. Both Lindblad and Browning were also uninjured and returned to the pits.
