“Legacy at Speed”: this is the name of McLaren’s new livery for the 2025 British Grand Prix
To celebrate their home race at Silverstone, McLaren will hit the track with a striking special livery, created in collaboration with their main partner Google Chrome. The design — dubbed “Legacy at Speed” — was unveiled in front of a large crowd of fans during the “McLaren Racing Live: London” event, held in the heart of Trafalgar Square.

This preview brought the energy of the F1 paddock straight into central London, strengthening the team’s bond with their fans just days before the British GP.
The livery pays homage to speed — both on track and online. It draws inspiration from the iconic chrome liveries that defined a major chapter in McLaren’s recent history, blending racing heritage with the performance power of Google Chrome.

“With Chrome, fans can instantly access the team’s history, culture, and McLaren’s most iconic moments,” reads the official release.
The launch wasn’t just a live event — it was shared across all of McLaren’s digital and social platforms, enhancing the connection between innovation, storytelling, and the global fanbase.
