For the first time ever, the premier class heads to Balaton: here’s the MotoGP Hungary schedule and weather forecast!
Marc Márquez dominated, Bezzecchi was on fire, and Bagnaia struggled heavily – that’s the quick summary of the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix weekend, where the #93 rider won both the Sprint and Sunday’s race.
But now it’s time for the real novelty of 2025: the MotoGP will race in Hungary for the very first time, at a venue where WorldSBK has already made its debut in recent weeks.
Balaton Park: The Circuit
In 2025, MotoGP lands at the Balaton Park Circuit, a brand-new track located in Hungary just a few kilometers from Lake Balaton. Recently inaugurated, the circuit was designed with state-of-the-art safety and entertainment standards, making it one of the most ambitious motorsport projects in Central Europe.
With a length of 4.1 km and 16 corners, it mixes fast sections with technical stretches, promising to showcase the riders’ full talent in the premier class.
The arrival of MotoGP at Balaton Park marks a historic moment for Hungary, officially placing the country on the MotoGP calendar. Beyond offering an entirely new track for teams and fans, the race will also serve as an international showcase for Hungary, which aims to establish the circuit as a new reference point for motorsport.
