An incredible incident occurred during MotoGP qualifying: Pedro Acosta’s bike nearly caused serious injury to a cameraman.
Moments of fear unfolded today in Hungarian GP qualifying, when Acosta’s crash almost turned into tragedy. After a high-speed impact, his KTM flipped several times in the gravel before vaulting over the circuit’s safety barriers, ending up incredibly off-track.
The destroyed bike slammed directly into the cameraman’s station, striking the camera that had been recording the crash. Acosta immediately glanced toward the scene, making sure his bike hadn’t caused any further damage beyond what he had already sustained to his leathers—and of course, the bike itself.

Joao, the cameraman behind the lens, managed to escape by mere moments thanks to the protection of his station: unharmed, but understandably in shock.
